simcha held her girls amaya and solayna in the shallow aquamarine waters in a sheltered cove with no waves with a long coral rees they floated wiethless in the salty sea the girls lay on her belly like baby sea otters with wide eyes they watched schools of bright colored fish dart among the coral and an octupus moving tentacles three sea horses came to the surface bobbing their long heads above the surface they spoke in sing song voices for them to get on their backs the seahorses grew in sizw and had seaweed saddles and reins they climbed on their backs and the seahorses dove below moving at a great speed through the coral labyrinth they rode a long ways feeling exhilrated as the warm water washed over them and the seahorses bucked and frolicked but there was a gentle rhythm to their movements they were brought to where the coral reef ended a cliffs edge and a strange and beautiful sight expanded before them a translucent crystal castle rose from the depths with tall spires and rounded roofs inside blooming plankto light the castle and mermaids swam eating pollen for sustenance jelly fish were in abundance doing a flowing danc flashing bright colors the seahorses brought them into the crytal castle and they found once they entered they had bright green tails on the lower half of their bodies and could swim easily around they did flips in the water and spun around laughing they went to a hall to meet the mermaid queen who invited them to feast with her court  they ate seaweed fruit that only grew at that depth and was so sweet the queen did an intricate dance with other mermaids and giant manta rays then they relaxed and the queen told stories about her life then the seahorses took them back to land through the coral reef labyritnh but they were invited back all they had to do was call with a conch shell from the shore
